You and your job-share partner need to take joint responsibility for your role and to support one another. You must have good written and verbal communication skills, be organised and be reliable. You can’t be too much of a control freak – however well you are matched you must be able to accommodate the working style of your partner.
It helps enormously to know yourself: your strengths and weaknesses; what really motivates you and what makes you perform at your best and worst.
